Position Description Overall
Responsibilities:
The Manager, Front Office Services is responsible to partner with the business to support and optimize the systems and processes utilized in day-to-day operation so the VT business from Human Resources and Safety, Lead Generation, Configuration, Quoting, Order Intake, Detailing, Invoicing, and Accounts Receivable, and the Customer Experience driving tight integration between VT and the customers and markets we serve.
The Manager, Front Office Services is responsible to analyze the project and service requests for their area, providing estimates, and assigning resources to prioritized request.
This role is responsible for the management of the Front Office Clarksville team.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Essential Job Functions:
Work with the Plant Manager, and peers, to develop & carry out the strategic plan for support of the front office functions Primary support, configuration, development, and implementation of the Sales, Marketing, Quoting, and Order Management processes Partner with the Business to find ways to improve business process speed, accuracy, and reduce costs Integration with customer systems to electronically transmit orders, invoices, acknowledgements, and other transactions as required Support and maintain the setup of VT products and services in the configurator and process those configurations through VT Online Employee performance management activities including goal setting, performance reviews, work assignments, coaching, mentoring, and aid in hiring for team members Second and third tier support for systems supporting Front Office Operations Implement and maintain development standards and code management processes Implement and report on key performance metrics for Front Office Services focusing on performance improvement of the team Actively support processes, systems, and projects as required to support VT Industries Critical thinking and decision-making abilities; Lead subordinates in absence of Plant Manager Other duties as assigned Position Requirements Professional Characteristics:

Qualifications:
5
years' experience in an office leadership role supporting a manufacturing company In-depth knowledge of business processes:
Lead Management, Opportunity Management, Price Management, Quoting, Campaign Management, and Product Portfolio Management Understanding of Lean or 6 Sigma continuous improvement methodologies In-depth knowledge of IFS Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in Excel Experience managing Cloud based software as a service system Experience in the Building Products industry supporting a manufacturing organization a plus Experience with enterprise ERP like XA, SAP, NetSuite, or Business One a plus Physical Requirements Tolerance for sitting long periods of time.
Possess finger dexterity to write, type, and use a calculator.
Maintain adequate vision to view small print and computer terminal.
Ability to speak and hear, walk throughout facilities with occasional light lifting (25 pounds), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms required.
Ability to travel between multiple facilities as required to perform core job duties.
